CREDO: The Confirmation Class of Westminster Presbyterian Church
CREDO is a discipleship program available to all students who will be entering grades eight through twelve. CREDO seeks to engage students in discovering what it means to be a follower of and profess faith in Jesus Christ as well as becoming a member of His church. The format is based on small group mentoring, a web based-curriculum, families, and worship. It is our hope and prayer that students who participate in this program, from September through May, will develop a better understanding of their faith in Jesus and the beauty found in being connected to a local church. Students who complete the CREDO class will be commissioned as members of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
We begin with a Parent and Student Meeting: Sept. 11, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in the Cove.
CREDO begins with a large group retreat, September 16- 18, 2011, at Sandy Cove Retreat Center in North East, Maryland . This is an essential component of the program, please mark your calendars. However, pelase do not allow cost to be a barrier, full and partial scholarships are available by contacting Greg Klimovitz at gklimovitz@westminsterpc.org. All students must turn in the permission slip (see link).

Statements of Faith are to be completed and brought with you to the final CREDO meeting on Sunday,
May 6 at 12 p.m.

Read through the whole lesson and ponder the questions in red. Make sure to read all the Scriptures and to print out and complete the Student Response Sheet to be brought with you at your next small group meeting.
